1. Introduction

Welcome to Pilates Planner ("the App"). By accessing or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the App.

The App is designed as a class planning and organisational tool for Pilates instructors and users.

The App is operated by Larena Charlesworth, trading as Pilates Planner, based in South Australia, Australia. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the App.

You must not:

  • Attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the App

  • Use the App for any illegal or unauthorised purpose

  • Interfere with the normal operation or security of the App

3. User Content and Ownership

You retain full ownership of any content you create within the App, including but not limited to class plans, schedules, notes, and personal data.

We do not claim ownership over your content. You are solely responsible for the information you create, store, or manage within the App.

4. Accounts and Responsibility

When creating an account, you are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login details

  • All activity that occurs under your account

  • Ensuring your information is accurate and up to date

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts if there is misuse of the App.

5. Privacy and Data Use

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties, and we do not use advertising, analytics, or tracking.

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, profile photo (Google only), and a unique account identifier. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive Apple's private relay address instead of your personal email.

We also store the content you create in the App. Your classes, schedules, notes, and to-dos, along with your personalisation preferences (cover colour, theme, and an optional first name).

This information is used only to operate the App and provide your account. The App is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, with our database located in Australia. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and database security rules ensure each user can only access their own data. We never see or store your password - sign-in is handled by Google and Apple.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted or stored digitally.

7. Deleting Your Account and Data

You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account inside the App. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data, including your classes, schedules, notes, to-dos, and profile information. This cannot be undone.

You can also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. If you have a privacy concern we cannot resolve, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a smooth and reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

We are not liable for any temporary downtime, data loss, or technical issues.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pilates Planner is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.

You use the App at your own risk.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
